Student-borrower education, powerful online tools and resources, clear and consistent communication and correspondence, creative and aggressive default initiatives - all contribute directly to our successful participation in the higher education community and financial aid process.
In addition to the resources described in the Web-enabled Functionality section, we provide the following for student-borrowers:
- Online forms for account/student-status updating - similar to the “Lender Library” we provide online versions of commonly used forms that borrowers need to help keep their accounts in current standing and include deferment/forbearance applications, change of contact information, etc.
- Creative repayment tools and the Student Loan Rebates program - A special rebate program to help borrowers with AES-serviced loans repay their loans faster.
- Incentives for timely repayment - we work with interested lending partners to offer interest rate reductions to those borrowers who meet established criteria for timely repayment.
