Mass Updates
The AES Loan Origination Mass Update process provides an easy way for financial aid personnel to make changes to any number of loan disbursement records. Users start the process by first querying the AES Loan Origination system records to which they want to apply the update.
The tool then guides you through the update process to those records. You can choose a variety of functions such as changing disbursement dates, loan period dates, the last date of attendance on Loan Origination records, or applying a hold or release to those records. Most Mass Update requests received by 4 PM EST are processed in the same day.
The Mass Update Process can be accessed securely through the AES School Portal using an AES User ID and password. Upon completion of the request, users receive a confirmation number that contains the AES User ID of the person who completed the request. The confirmation number can be used when communicating with our staff about the request.
